What can I do at An Tobar?
Social Farming
Currently we deliver social farming placements for participants with learning disabilities for 3 days per week and for mental health clients on 1 day per week.
Educational Gardening for Schools
We provide educational gardening programmes to children from 16 local schools with the aim of improving physical and mental health as well as promoting healthy eating, local biodiversity and environmental awareness.
Social & Therapeutic Horticulture
Social and therapeutic horticulture is the process of using plants and gardens to improve physical and mental health, as well as communication and thinking skills.
